I wasn’t really feeling all that into it tonight, but I did my time anyway. Your mental state really does have a major effect on how your body functions: I was barely able to get through sections that I could breeze through on the days when I feel more pumped.
As for the diet part of my fitness, it turns out Team Beachbody recommended I do the high-protein, low-carb diet…which I was already doing. However, I admit I am going to break it tomorrow when we have a going away dinner for my former supervisor. They have dinners like this all the time and I usually stick to my diet guns, but this once I am going to make an exception. Even hardcore weightlighters go on an eating binge every now and then. Granted, I know they have the physique I’m aiming for BEFORE they go off their diet, but like I said this is a one-shot deal. On Thursday I will be right back on the diet and working my way toward my goal weight.
