Hey, what do you know? Halfway through the “getting started” program for 10 Minute Trainer! As the subject line suggests, today was all about the legs. It has been a while since I did this particular workout (although when I was doing a half-assed job of working out, this was the one I picked to do the most often), and boy did I feel it tonight! With each day that passes, my love for these workouts and this company just keeps growing and growing. I am ready to be done with so much frickin’ overtime and rip into this stuff!
One more thing I wanted to mention: I was thinking about wing chun at work tonight, and there were some inspirational words I wanted to share that my Sifu gave me. They weren’t inspirational for anyone else…just for me LOL. In any event I was talking with him after class about how my two main problems with wing chun are a lack of confidence and a lack of aggression. (Asking which one causes the other is like asking which came first: the chicken or the egg?) He said, “You know what you have to do. Getting a handle on these problems is within your grasp. It’s just that you need the hands-on experience. You just need to come to class and practice more.” Yet another sign inspiring me to get back to normal Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5 hours!!! Wing chun and Team Beachbody, here I come!
