Holy crap, this felt like I had just started working out all over again! This time around I decided to do two workouts instead of one for obvious reasons: better results. One thing that handicapped the effectiveness of tonight’s session is that I lost the door attachment for my resistance bands, and the ENTIRE Upper Body session relied on using the attachment. The best I could do was to wrap my bands around the support beam of the archway between my living and dining room, but that doesn’t help me get the best results. Why? Because when I pull on one side, the band SLIDES around the beam instead of remaining stationery like it would if I had the door attachment.
On the wing chun front, I stuck to just to the forms and “one to ten, ten to one” drill today. Hopefully I will get to pick up the 5- and 8-lb. dumbbells soon so I can do the “punching with weights” drill.
