P90X: Day 87 (Kenpo X)

Oh man, look at those numbers in that subject line! 3…2…1…CONTACT! (Anyone else remember that show from PBS?) Closing in on the graduation day! X Stretch, Core Synergistics, and Yoga X are all I have left. On Saturday my aunt is coming down at noon from Lake George, so my plan is to get up early enough to do the FULL Yoga X before she gets here. After that my wife will take my 90 day pictures, and then it will be time to eat a hearty yet healthy lunch to celebrate!

The coaching side of this is going great. I just helped guide two new team members to the board, so everyone say hello to Cassie and Chris! Plus I had two AWESOME conversations tonight with Nicole (niklovely) and Coach Shu. It seems that Nicole is in the same position Shu and I are in: where she lives, it seems no one really knows much about Team Beachbody or P90X. (Would that be a fair assessment, Nicole?) So she is in a great spot (just like Shu and I) to make this thing blow wide open in her area. I can’t tell you how great it feels to know that someday my sole source of income will be a job where I help people out.

Well, it might not be my SOLE source of income. My friend Clarence finally started getting back to me about the webcomic idea that we started batting around last holiday season. Looks like THAT isn’t too far away from becoming a reality either!

Lots of good things on the horizon. Just need to be patient.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
