Insanity: Day 36 (Max Interval Circuit)

I entered a whole new level of pain and gasping for air tonight. It was like starting the program all over again. Normally I write in this blog about the length of the workout and then go on to mention how many breaks I had to take aside from the ones Shaun T scheduled in for you. Tonight there were too many of those to count. At best, I’d say I did maybe 65-75% of the workout.

I’m actually kind of disappointed in myself. I know other people warned me ahead of time that, just as I got used to month 1, month 2 would kick my butt all over again…but I would have thought the first round had me in enough shape to do more than I did. Oh well, tomorrow will come and I will press play again!

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
