This workout was only a half hour long, but I still built up a decent sweat. Do I feel as sore or as worn out as I did after Insanity? No, but then again that was INSANITY!!! From this point on I doubt any other programs will seem as tough…except maybe Insanity: The Asylum.
The exercises in tonight’s workout were dumbbell lunges, cross jacks, squat thrusts, and one or two more that escape my mind. The spice round was pretty cool: for squat thrusts, you added “spice” by actually letting your body hit the floor, then using ab power to get back up. Pretty sweet, actually!
