I know why this is called Merciless Abs now: it isn’t just because the workout is tough, but it’s because you don’t get the usual 30 second breaks. (Normally, whenever you get to them, Brett says, “And that, my friends, is mercy.”) In this workout you get only 10 second breaks at the end of each round, so it is about a minute shorter than Mercy Abs…but tougher. Here are the exercises for all three rounds:
*Mela Lua: This is like the Ben Cao kick from Mercy Abs except you bring your foot out to the side and then swing it over to the middle. This kind of kick would have zero impact on an opponent so I just stuck the straight kick you do during Ben Cao.
