Rev Abs: Day 69 (Strength and Endurance-Merciless Abs)

I got home at 8:45 as usual last night and I wanted to get to my workout right away because I was pulling double duty, plus I had to get up at 6:30am to go see Aiden off to school. However, when I got in, my son William was still up and wanted to play. So I said, “You know what? SCREW working out. He’s going to be little only once.” I put Brett on hold and played with William. (Got to get in all the playing time I can before my kids are too old and “too cool” to spend time with dad.) Actually, here is a little-known fact about my kids: Aiden’s first day of school was today, and William turned three today!

At any rate, I pushed it really hard during the workout once I got around to it. I really don’t like this one exercise called “Queda de Quatro,” so I replaced it with various other exercises. By far my favorite is the Hoebel Curl, which was a real killer on my shoulders!

One other thing I forgot to add about the last time I went to fit club: the next day I was actually SORE. That hasn’t happened in quite a while…proof that, while I enjoy being able to do the workouts on my own at home, there really is something magical about being able to do them with other people.
