This has to be the most messed up week I have ever had since I started on my fitness journey. I had my birthday party for my daughters on Saturday out at my in-laws’ house in Averill Park. I was too wiped out from the overnight shift to work out before the party started, and I was in even WORSE shape when the party ended! Then on Sunday I did a whole mix of things: took the twins and my son home, came back and spent time with my wife and youngest son, went to Walmart, then had to go to practice with my bassist and drummer. (For more on that project, see my other blog: burningvanity.wordpress.com) Practice took longer than I thought, so I didn’t work out Sunday either.
At long last, I was able to catch up. Instead of Yoga X I did one session of 10 Minute Trainer Yoga Flex. Then after work I did Shoulders and Arms, which I was supposed to do on Sunday. Even though Monday was also a weightlifting day, I figured it’d be all right since that workout (Legs and Back) would not be working the same muscles. And you know what? It worked in my favor. Now I am back on track and on the workouts I should be for the right day.
