P90X/P90X+ Hybrid: Days 58 and 59 (Interval X Plus-Shoulders and Arms-Ab Ripper X)

I got Interval X Plus done at Vanderheyden around 2:00am. Getting it done so early makes me feel like I haven’t worked out in ages, even though I haven’t skipped a day.

The other night Diana and I went to see a movie, so I must admit: I slipped off the diet. However, I want to say this: it was by choice, NOT because my willpower crapped out on me. I’ve been eating really good over these last few weeks, so I decided to let myself have a treat. And you know what? It worked out fine because here we are, only a day later, and I put myself right back on that diet. This is a good sign because, years ago, slipping on one day meant another would soon follow…and another…and another. That doesn’t appear to be happening this time around, so far.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
