Just got done doing Upper Body Plus for the first time. There are some moves I just don’t understand, like the Clean to Negative Pull-ups. It looks just like standard push-ups to me. However, those few moves aside, this is an awesome routine. My new favorite workout move is the Combat Push-Up, which is kind of hard to explain in words…so I won’t try. Needless to say, it is brutal.
One good thing I notice about the P90X+ routines: with the exception of Abs/Core Plus, they are all shorter than standard P90X, but still work up an amazing sweat!
I see on my next auto-schedule (for the P90X/Rev Abs hybrid) that I am supposed to work out SEVEN days a week, and the seventh day is Yoga X! Well, to hell with that! I don’t have the time. Plus you are supposed to have a rest day, so I have no idea why this hybrid is for seven days a week.
