P90X/P90X+ Hybrid: Day 68 (Legs and Back-Ab Ripper X)

The auto-schedule called for Abs/Core Plus, but that involves using my pull-up bar. William wasn’t quite yet asleep, and the pull-up bar is near his room so I didn’t want to risk him hearing me and then getting his second wind! Somehow I managed to get Legs and Back in before work while also typing up several pages of part 5 of my zombie comic.

On an unrelated musical note, fellow musician Kev Brock plans on doing a series of interviews with musicians that he feels are unjustly ignored by the local music scene…and I am going to be his first interview! This will cover the topic of my solo acoustic material as well as the concept album I am recording under the moniker Burning Vanity.

When the interview is done, I will repost it here.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
