Talking about bouncing back! I was sitting here at my computer moping after I wrote that Day 75 blog, and I suddenly realized: hey, I don’t feel too hungry…there is nothing else to do…why not knock out Kenpo BEFORE work instead of after?
So I asked the wife if she could hold off on breakfast, which she could, and I did it! I did my three empty hand wing chun forms as my warm-up, plus some leg stretches, and then got right into it. I needed to strike a careful balance of getting my workout done, but not taking forever to get around to breakfast, so what I did was (1) skip the cool-down minutes (even though I was pushing it, I didn’t feel so out of that I needed a cardio break) and (2) skipped the Gladiator move because my knees weren’t feeling so great.
However, the good news is: the rest of me DOES feel great.
