P90X/Rev Abs Hybrid: Day 8 (Chest and Back-Ab Ripper X)

I did Ab Ripper X at work as usual. Then I was able to get Chest and Back in after lunch but before work. (My sons and wife were awake, but she cleaned and the boys colored…so I wasn’t ignoring anyone! Plus the boys joined in when they took breaks.)

Dive Bomber Push-Ups are still my main enemy. I don’t know what it is, but somehow my LEGS start hurting before my chest does! Maybe it’s because none of the footwear I own can get decent traction on my living room rug, so I keep slipping…which means I’m always making a conscious effort to dig my feet in to prevent this? That sounds like the best bet.

I am 38 years old, separated, father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!

Hmmm. I’m not sure of my tip will help but here goes. I recommend you check out Nike Free Run 2 shoes. I have worn them over 3 years now and they are possibly the best workout shoes i’ve ever owned. Perhaps if you worn it, they might help you workout more better. Best of luck weman1976.

Thanks for the tip! And just a heads up: it’s wCman1976. The “WC” stands for wing chun. 🙂
