P90X/Rev Abs Hybrid: Day 30 (Fire Up Your Abs-Mercy Abs)

A strange thing happened when I entered phase 2 of this hybrid: I discovered that, contrary to the schedule of EVERY OTHER hybrid I have done, this one doesn’t double up a weightlifting routine with Ab Ripper X on the P90X days. Instead, I have to do Mercy Abs today on the Rev Abs day. That struck me as interesting. Makes me wonder why they set up phase 2 this way.
