I pushed myself harder tonight than I have in a long time, doing even the exercises that I can’t stand. On top of that, I made myself do ten pull-ups every time I did a back exercise, even if it meant having to take one or two rests.
What is the special occasion? Why would I force myself through this? Well, it’s because today I finally decided to take the P90X Certification class. This class allows you to teach P90X in gyms and in private lessons, so I figure if I want people to take me serious as their instructor, then I better push myself through EVERYTHING…even the exercises/routines I hate.
I wonder what they are going to do when it comes to things like Yoga X, where there are certain positions that I still just can’t twist my body into. In particular, I am thinking of Reverse Half Moon here. How can people think of me as an expert if I am either falling over or can’t even do the move?
I guess we’ll see!
