P90X/Rev Abs Hybrid: Day 52 (X Stretch)

I can’t remember if I mentioned this in my post yesterday (my memory is THAT bad, and I am too lazy to look), but I got a $25 gift to Home Depot for Father’s Day. This went toward purchasing all the lag/carriage bolts, washers and nuts I will need to build my own wooden dummy! Next up: save the money to buy the arms.

Today was X Stretch. Normally this workout irritates me because it is 57 minutes long, but each stretch is only 30-60 seconds so there are a LOT of exercises, which makes it feel longer. However, tonight this workout was just what I needed after the day I had at work. So everything worked out in the end.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
