P90X Classic Plus: Day 4 (Yoga)

My foot was still hurting me from my trip to Maine. I knew I couldn’t stand through and hour and a half of yoga. Originally I wanted to do Fountain of Youth, but even 48 minutes seemed like stretching it. So I fell back on an old stand-by: I did sil lum tao, chum kiu, and biu jee (wing chun forms) interspersed with two sessions of 10 Minute Trainer Yoga Flex that included the warm-up and cool-down sessions (both times). The timer in the Beachbody Super Gym starts at 98 minutes. By the time I was done, it was down to about 45. So that is still 43 minutes of something other than weightlifting or cardio. Not too bad and, given the condition my foot is in, it is the best I can do today.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
