P90X Classic Plus: Day 8 (Upper Body Plus-Abs/Core Plus)

I did Upper Body while my daughters watched WE BOUGHT A ZOO. Then I started to do Abs/Core Plus, but my son Willaim kept asking me for this and that during the workout. It just completely broke up my rhythm. By the time he stopped, I wasn’t feeling it anymore. But to be fair to him, I really wasn’t feeling it when I pushed play. Maybe this seed was planted by Coach Shu, or maybe this is how I really feel, but I think he was right: I have been doing too many hybrids with P90X. It’s time to vary it up.

However, to keep working out, I will still do this particular program until the Ultimate Reset gets here.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
