This isn’t really “day one,” but I labelled it as such because…I felt like it. At any rate, these fit test results might look bad, but you have to consider a couple things: (1) I haven’t worked out in a while, (2) for certain moves you counted the number of cycles you did, NOT the number of reps, and (3) I did the assessment too soon after eating, so I felt nauseous toward the end. (My mistake; I learned for next time.) At any rate, here are the results:

Agility Heisman: 8 cycles
In and Out Ab Progression: 35 reps
Lat Push-Ups: 18 reps
Mountain Climber Switch Kicks: 60 reps
Agility Shoulder Taps: 3 cycles
X Jumps: 23 reps
Moving Push-Ups: 2
Agility Lateral Shuffle: 12 cycles
Agility Bear Crawl: 4 cycles

They may not be the best right now…but they WILL get better over time.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
