Today I did not max out until 19:10. That is impressive because I forced my way through the Diamond Push-Up series, which includes a move where you go down and HOLD the position. This is hard enough in regular push-ups, but in Diamond it practically constitutes being a masochist.
In the name of honesty, I was modifying. Not only did I do the push-ups from my knees, but I also did the patented Tony Horton “half push-up” that was introduced in P90. Still, this is the best I have done, so I am counting it as improvement!
I must say that I have not felt this way about working out since I started doing 10 Minute Trainer back in 2010. Once I start moving, I don’t think about anything else except getting better, which of course is what will MAKE me get better.
