Max out time was 23:14.
Well, what can I really say? I have been through this workout several times now. There is really nothing new to report other than I think my max out time has gone up. If it hasn’t, then I am really slacking!
On Saturday I went to wing chun class and did chi sao with three different people. One of them was a senior student like me. The second one has been doing chi sao for a few months, and the third just began. I can’t say for sure which experience was the most valuable. From an egotistical point of view, I could say chi sao with the beginner was best because, let’s face it, who doesn’t get a thrill out of doing something better than someone else? Then again, the other aspect of practicing with the beginner is I am helping him to see the level he can achieve in his chi sao someday. As for chi sao with the moderate and senior students, those were good because their higher skill level forces ME to get better. So it’s a tough call, but I can say one thing: it was a great class.
