The Go Fund Me Campaign for REDemption

Given that most of my posts have been about exercise lately, it might seem like this is out of place. However, let me remind you that The Writings and Ruminations of Steve Grogan is supposed to be a kind of “smorgasborg” site, where I post about anything that crosses my mind: book/music/movie reviews, philosophy, observations on life, exercise notes, martial arts notes, and yes…writing projects.

I have finally hooked up with an artist who wants to commit to my comic book, which was once called The Redemption Project but is now simply called REDemption. We have decided to go the webcomic route to reduce costs, but there are still things we need to pay for:

1) domain name
2) website hosting fees
3) art supplies
4) advertising costs
5) merchandise costs

To give us a kickstart, I decided to create a Go Fund Me campaign. Without further ado, here is the widget…which I hope works.

About Steve Grogan

I am 40 years old, divorced, and a father of four kids. I am a practitioner of a self-defense system called wing chun kung fu. My other hobbies include writing, playing guitar, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Recently I have gotten back into fitness, and this time I am DETERMINED to get the washboard abs...whether my metabolism will cooperate with me or not! The purpose of this blog is to write not only about my hobbies, but also about whatever crosses my mind, whether it is something I don't understand or something that aggravates me. So join me as I indulge my tendency to think too much about topics that don't usually cross anyone else's mind!
