December 20, 2016: Training Journal

Well, today is going to be a crazy day because I have to leave work at 1:00pm in order to get to an appointment scheduled for 2:15pm. (Got to love that mid-day shuttle schedule!) In any event, I am determined to do as much training as I can despite this nutty running around routine.

NOTE: I am publishing this entry halfway through the day, so I am only up to lunch on my nutrition menu. However, I have managed to do all my Wing Chun training for the day! Only thing left to do: 10 Minute Trainer Cardio.

WING CHUN

*250 punches in horse stance
250 punches with a pivot

*Challenge Set #1

*50 front kicks
*50 side kicks
*50 lift kicks
*50 low kicks
*50 stomp/scrape kicks

NUTRITION

*BREAKFAST: bread (1 grain), peanut butter (1 protein), banana (1 fruit), milk (1 dairy)
*SNACK 1: cereal (1 grain), small orange (1/2 fruit)
*LUNCH: tuna (2 protein), carrots (1 vegetable), cereal (1 grain), string cheese (1 dairy)
*SNACK 2: 2 slices of bread (2 grains), string cheese (1 dairy)
*DINNER: Chicken with cashew nuts (2 proteins), vegetables (1 vegetable)

EXERCISE

*10 Minute Trainer: Cardio
